March has come and gone, and it’s time again for the random draw on the Lazygamer.net Superbru rugby prediction pool. One super bru has won himself a free copy of BioShock: Infinite on the platform of his choice.
Our superest bru Erwin Kempff, Captain of our SuperBru Pool has informed us that we have some awesome prizes for the pool, very exclusive stuff. You should be one of the people making picks to win these, yes you should.
It’s that time of the year again, you know, that time where Gavin is the only one in the office that knows what the hell Super Rugby 2013 is and makes fun of Geoff and Darryn’s lack of knowledge and interest in sport. It’s also SuperBru Rugby time and WE WANT YOU!
So, our beloved national side may not have walked away with the prestigious Web Ellis trophy this year, but at least everyone who participated, had a great time in this years Rugby World Cup tournament.
Our Superbru pool has wrapped up as well, and it’s time to announce our top five winners, who will receive some prizes that have been sponsored by the great folks over at Megarom. Lets see who had the clairvoyance to accurately predict the outcome of the entire tournament.
So we’ve had some massive news to bring to you this week with the news that Rugby Challenge will also be getting a local release to go head to head in a battle to the death with Rugby World Cup… okay maybe that’s overselling it a bit but we need to spice things up sometimes.
Well today Rugby World Cup hit back with the news that they have now licenced the Irish Rugby Football Union in their game as well.
[Update] We've spoken to the alleged possible distributors and it looks like somebody jumped the gun, as no distribution deals have yet been signed. As of right now, no-one is bringing Rugby Challenge into the country. As soon as we get official confirmation of anything, we'll post it up.
It seems that after such a long drought, just one Rugby game isn’t quite enough. While we already knew that the officially SARU licenced Rugby World Cup would be hitting our shores, the fate of the other Rugby game, Rugby Challenge wasn’t so certain.
There’ve been drives on Facebook, Twitter and even here on Lazygamer.net to try and bring Rugby challenge to South Africa. Well, good news! We’ve received confirmation from a retailer that yes, Rugby Challenge will be coming to South Africa.
Hey Cricket fans. As far as sports games go, you’ve been a rather neglected bunch, with the heavyweights preferring to make more US-centric sports games like Madden and MLB. Oh, and games about 23 idiots running around on a field after a ball. Of course you’re not nearly as neglected as rugby fans, who haven’t seen a proper game in what seems like decades.
you’re lucky in that you’re about to get another one, courtesy of Codemasters and Trickstar Games a studio comprised of fellows behind the pretty good, but ultimately disappointing Ashes Cricket.
