Creating a cover for your upcoming video game isn’t as easy as it looks. Unless it utilises the chin down, eyes up approach (Best for job interviews). And then you get the video game covers of software pirates. You’ve seen them before, at flea markets and at the robots. Hastily printed covers, sometimes the wrong one, in washed colours and cheap paper. And then you get the video game pirate covers of Syrian Games, which takes terribad to a new level.

Some videogames, such as Super Mario Bros 3, have a pervasive sense of realism. Eating leaves totally makes you grow a raccoon tail, which in turn allows you to fly if you run fast enough. Other games are somewhat less realistic. Humour site Cracked invited its readers to envision, through crafty photoshoppery, what games would be like if they were a little more real. I particularly liked the animated Zelda/boomerang joke, the Guitar Hero image you see above this hangover-induced slightly incoherent text and the winning Mortal Kombat entry . The submissions range from awesome to confusing, but there’s sure to be something that YOU’LL find funny.

There isn’t much to say about this really, this video popped up on the official Ubisoft Twitter yesterday without much of an explanation behind it, it is only 160 characters after all.

Anyway it’s another one of those cool hand drawn (is it really when they use Photoshop?) video’s that we see around, this one is the lead up to the Assassin’s Creed Initiation video… so it’s a promo for a promo for a game…

Not too long ago, prior to the release of the PS3 Slim, I'm sure you all remember the hordes of rumors regarding the new console. Whether it be on forums, blogs, news sites or scribbled on the back of a public toilet door... we've all seen them. Since the PS3 Slim has now been announced these photoshop monkeys are now looking for a new target and luckily fo rus they didn't move very far from their last idea... yeah its the Xbox 360 Slim.
