Those were incomplete! Unfinished advertisements! This is the first “official†one, and as expected, features all sorts of people jumping about like sillies not using controllers. Kinectimals, Dance Central and Kinect Sports seem to be the games on show, although it’s hard ... [»] |

At a very recent event in Hong Kong, Microsoft held a Kinect demonstration showcasing the system’s capabilities. They employed two skimpily dressed models to show off some of the system’s sports oriented titles. This is where it kinda falls ... [»] |

According to Syed Bilal Tariq, Microsoft’s marketing manager for the Saudi Region, the thing’ll hit ... [»] |

| Sony Also have New Motion Control in the Works? | Geoffrey Tim - May 4th, 2009 | Motion control, while used before, is a prominent feature this generation. Nintendo’s emphasis on motion control and their wholesale ingurgitation of the casual market has meant that its competitors (whether they’d like to brand themselves as such or not) have reason to believe they have to follow suit. Rumours of Microsoft incorporating motion controls in the 360 have been circulating for years.Sony’s PS3 of course already has rudimentary motion control – but reports from the inner sanctums of the internet indicate that Sony bigwigs may feel that its half-arsed waggle just isn’t enough. Seems that details of an LED-based system of motion control are surfacing and that if the internet ninjas are correct, will be demonstrated at this year’s E3.I’m still of the opinion that motion control is this generation’s white elephant – It’s applied usefulness is still out ... Nothing to exciting you say? Well it can apparently detect movements as small as a pinch as well as detecting grabbing, scrolling or your typical fighting movements. We ... [»] |
