Resistance 3 Trailered – Includes Gameplay

 - December 13th, 2010
You’ll have to suffer through a short bit of live acti0on, but after that it’ll seamlessly blend in to some actual gameplay – and it looks great. Of the exclusive PS3 FPS’ due next year, this is probably the one I’m more excited for. Though I enjoyed Guerrilla Games’ Killzone 2, I just find that Insomniac manages to inject a ... [»]

Awesome videogame Demakes

 - August 3rd, 2010
As a gamer raised on a diet of 8 and 16 bit games, their general aesthetic invokes an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. Things like this though – combining my love of modern games with the heady wistfulness of bygone eras – make me giddy. After the jump you’ll find a collection of videogame demakes created by Swedish artist Junkboy. – pieces of videogame art in which new games are made to look as if they’d been released many years previous. They’re ... [»]

Here’s Your first Killzone 3 Footage

 - May 28th, 2010
Wow, it’s been almost nothing but Killzone news this week! While it was kinda fun, I wasn’t particularly enthralled by Killzone 2 - but before you label me a deluded Xbox fanboy, I think Halo is rubbish too. Here’s the first blootleg footage of the game, obviously taken without Sony or Guerilla Games consent.Pretty, even if it is silent, ... [»]

The console wars are getting out of hand, we are now comparing PS3 exclusives with concept art?

 - March 2nd, 2010
I don’t know if anyone saw the flamebait post that did the rounds a few weeks back about how the Killzone characters had 72% more polygons than the Halo Reach characters? Well it looks like the originators of that article, Split-Screen, are now ... [»]

Last year, around about the time that Killzone 2 hit the world, I posted an article titled Killzone 2: The Best Thing To Happen To The Xbox 360 . While the title confused people at first, it made sense once you read it and my point was made. Many people agreed with ... [»]

PS3 vs. Xbox360. The battle for the title is now!

 - May 26th, 2009
The ongoing battle between Microsoft and Sony is one that shall not be resolved in the near future, I promise you that. In between the heated arguments and accusations on which is the better console, the ammunition is endless. Today, however, I decided to sift through all the fanboy bantering and focus on a single bullet…exclusivity.Since their release, both consoles have enjoyed quite a ... [»]

Of Course Killzone 2 Can Run On An Xbox 360.

 - April 3rd, 2009
What? Did you think all those reports that you read were true? Ex-Bungie developer Christian Allen, when asked if Killzone 2 could run on the 360's hardware had the following to say in an interview with hiphopgamershow:"Oh yeah, Killzone 2 could totally be done on 360 if Guerilla wanted to. The tech is there, if the team and the publishers were motivated, they could do it, just like Halo could come to PS3 if MS didn’t own ... [»]

February NPD figures – Was Killzone 2 a System Seller?

 - March 21st, 2009
NPD, the market research folks who track stateside console and software sales have released their figures for February – and it should come as no real surprise to anybody that Nintendo continues to dominate the charts. The waggle-machine with too many unnecessary peripherals sold an astounding 753,000 units in February, while its little handheld cousin sold a total of 588,000. With recent reports that South African lifetime sales of the DS has reached 20,000 units, it highlights just what a small market we are. On the software side, 644,00  people bought Wii Fit to accompany their new consoles. Street Fighter IV took second and third spots, with the 360 just outselling the PS3 version with 446,000 units to 403,000. That’s not why you’re reading this ... [»]
