I don’t think there’s been a card game since the original Magic: The Gathering and Yu Gi Oh! arrived, that has managed to garner as much interest as Hearthstone: Heroes Of Warcraft. While I prefer playing more casually and not dipping my feet too deep into those card battle waters, the game has managed to create a deep meta-system over the last year with various tactics and strategies. And you can expect the first expansion for Hearthstone to make that rabbit hole even deeper.
You’re about to make an important choice. You’re going to decide whether you want to stick to the shadows and leave a dagger present in the back of a guard who has a wife and kids to support, or if you want to raise hell in the middle of an army and go down swinging. Dragon Age Inquisition is all about choice, and who you play as will decide how the game reacts to you. We’ve got a handy guide, to help inform that decision.
So you’ve downloaded that free to play game from Blizzard, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. You’re all eager to start playing, you’ve done the tutorial and then WHAM! You forget that the closed beta participants have been packing major cards for the last couple of months. You need help. And I’m going to give it you.
So far, Evolve sounds like the kind of game that favours the one player who is skulking around a level as the alien beast, waiting to suck on your bone marrow. But there are four other roles in the game, for players going the human route. And they sound pretty potent as individuals and even more so as a team.
I’m probably in the minority, but I actually liked Crysis 2. It didn’t offer the sandbox freedom that the first game provided, but it was an entertaining battle through smaller, tighter and decidedly more linear levels. With Crysis 3, Crytek have sought to find a modicum of balance between the two philosophies – and they’ve largely succeeded.
If there is one FPS game coming from EA that everyone is excited for, it has to be Crysis 3. The game is taking the theme of an urban jungle a little too far, but we’re okay with that, as the latest addition to the multiplayer for the game, spices things up.
Do you remember that awesome surprise trailer from Naughty Dog last year for their upcoming survival title, The Last of Us?
Well Naughty Dog have released a brand new trailer showing even more incredible in game footage from the title, while we are yet to see any actual gameplay the cut scenes alone seem to be enough to buy this game.
Rockstar games have released the official trailer for their upcoming Undead Nightmare DLC and this is honestly more like it.
Previously I was a bit worried that the zombies were a gimmicky add on to an already awesome game and while that may still be the case it looks like Rockstar have nailed this gimmick perfectly.
If the game plays like the tone of this video then the Undead Nightmare pack will be well worth checking out.
