Well, it’s not as if the iconic fighting franchise hasn’t graced every single other handheld device since it arrived so many years ago. And to be honest, an updated Mortal Kombat on the Vita would be just the right incentive for me to actually buy the device, especially if I ... [»]
So what are you playing games on when you’re away from your domicile? A Nintendo 3DS? A PS Vita that had you jumping through hoops so that you could smuggle it in from Japan? Or how about a tablet device?
Now, while each device has its merits, they’ve also got their own drawbacks as well. But just imagine what it ... [»]
For day one sales, at least. When Nintendo announced the $250 dollar retail price for their new glasses-free 3D handheld, sceptics were sure the system was doomed; it’s relatively high price point put it out of the reach of mass market.According to Nintendo though, that’s not the case, as they’ve confirmed that day-one unit sales of the system have outperformed all of the Japanese ... The Nintendo 3DS has now been released to all regions of the world and everyone is getting their handheld 3D gaming on, which may or may not mean increased rates of nausea and vomiting on public transport.
Many of you ran out to buy one this weekend, heck, I know I did and even those of you who didn't buy it may have ... [»]
Welcome to the jungle, we’ve got fun and..we’ll no..no we don’t. Remember that handheld device Panasonic announced last year? Y’know. the one that was supposed to be a trimmed down, mobile gaming device specifically for playing MMO’s?We said that unless it managed to secure a deal to get World of Warcraft, it would die a swift death. It seems we were wrong; because it’s been killed before it managed to crawl. In a statement to ... [»]
If you’ve been a regular reader, you’ll know that I’m terribly, terribly excited for Nintendo’s 3DS. As keen as I am, the confirmation that the device will employ region locking has dampened my enthusiasm somewhat. The lack of regional restrictions on handheld gaming systems has been a boon for travellers, accustomed to purchasing new and interesting games on their travels. This isn’t ... [»]
The only thing that could possibly make Team Fortress 2 any better was if all of the characters were gorgeous ladies, so thanks to Nemesis on Deviant Art for the image in the header.

Although I have been gaming for a very long time, I have only been exposed to proper rhythm games in the last year or so (Guitar Hero & Co don't count).
Games like Elite Beat Agents and Rhythm Heaven are really kind of insane in a good way and really made me feel like I had been missing out ... [»]
Nintendo’s just announced that they’ll be releasing a new Nintendo DS to be released in March of next year. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata made the announcement earlier in a an investor call. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was the very first game that I got for my Nintendo DS when I bought it last year, and even though I have not yet gotten around to finishing it, it has really been a great experience.
Now, a new Zelda, titled "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks" has been announced and looks to utilise pretty much the same ... [»]
From it's 2D top-down origins right up until the latest and most technically astounding console offering, the Grand Theft Auto series has proven time and time again that Rockstar have a very firm grasp of this idea called videogame development.Grand Theft Auto has now finally moved onto that little ridiculously successful handheld called the Nintendo DS, and while it ... Resistance: Retribution is almost here (March 17) and is looking surprisingly good. Check out this gameplay trailer to get an idea of what you can expect from this ambitious little handheld shooter.
Set to release on March 17, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS is starting to look like a must-have title for all DS owners that are looking for something fun, exciting and a little more hardcore.
This trailer shows us more of the gameplay, with a focus on missions that involve dealing and delivering goods. I'm not a huge fan of using the DS's stylus for gimmicky gameplay but I have to say that cutting open hidden compartments and hot wiring ... [»]
Now I know that this is just a rumour, but I am really impressed by the amount of awesome sounding titles that are heading to the PSP anyway (LittleBigPlanet and Motorstorm already announced). While many believed ... [»]
The first official trailer and gameplay video for Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars has been released and looks to unleash havoc on the Nintendo DS.
The game will not be completely sticking to the original top view that I initially expected, but will be 3D with a slightly titled camera. It seems as if the developers have also opted for somewhat of a cartoony look to the game, although nothing over the top.
I have put up the gameplay video after the jump. ... [»]
