You have to be a severe Guitar Hero fan to fork out the money for these but if you are that dedicated then these are probably the best two attachments you can get for Guitar Hero World Tour… In a nutshell they are simply wireless versions of the drumset and guitar ... [»]
Sensationalist headline - check, barely there logic to back it up – check… You may remember back in November last year that Keidi Klum recreated a famous clip from Risky Business to advertise just how awesome Guitar Hero World Tour was? Well Activision have decided they aren’t taking that lying ... [»]
Guitar Hero 5, despite its name, will not be the fifth Guitar Hero game. It’s been preceded by at least seventy-thousand titles bearing the guitar Hero epithet. It’s easy to see why Activision are bleeding this franchise dry; It’s netted them over $2 Billion in revenues. Shows how many people have inner rockstars they’re desperately trying to ... [»]
Blurry images have been floating around the internet purporting to be leaked pictures of Guitar Hero 5’s new drum peripheral. Yes, another one. The new set appears to be an odd amalgamation of the current World tour set and the Rock Band drums. Controls have been moved to the front of the kit, the odd cymbal pads have been replaced with full, round cymbals – and most importantly the bass pedal appears to be tethered ... [»]
So if you haven’t joined in on the fun that is Guitar Hero and jumped on the Activision band wagon, then you are seriously missing out. And this is coming from a hardcore Guitar Hero fan. However, I have finally now placed down my tiny plastic guitar and let my multi-coloured fret madness subside. Why? Because I can’t keep up with the constant costs ... [»]
I have to be honest and say that once it was released, I was a bit disappointed with Guitar Hero: World Tour, but only because I don't like that the difficulty has been dumbed down quite a lot to appeal to more gamers. While I am more than happy to see new faces get into gaming and music, why not leave expert to the experts and easy to the newcomers.
This behind the scenes look at Guitar Hero: Metallica delves a little into ... [»]
Drumming, I’ve been told, requires limb independence. I do not possess limb independence. This is why I look like an epileptic ADHD kid holding sparklers when I get behind a drum kit, real or otherwise. If rhythm is in your blood but you’ve been holding out buying the full Guitar Hero World Tour kit then here’s some good news – Neversoft have officially dated the standalone drum kit.The digital ... By Blue Collar What went wrong? In the continuing battle for supremacy between Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2 it’s commonly accepted that although RB2 has the edge when it comes to song content, the GH:WT instruments are generally better designed and more fun to play on. There’s one glaring exception though – the cheap plastic kick drum pedal bundled with the GH:WT drum kit is not up ... [»]
Eurogamer have been counting down their top 50 games of the year and have finally come to the end. Instead of working on any solid formula they have basically just asked the team which games they liked the best that were released in 2008. Then they put them all together and ranked them accordingly… simple really and it has thrown up some odd surprises. For example Tomb Raider has made it in at number 19 even though it didn’t receive the best of reviews, MGS4 only managed to sneak in at number 30 even though they gave it a fantastic review. Resistance 2 only just snuck into the top 50 and for the life of me I can’t find Call of Duty World at War. Click here to see the top 10 list and I have ... [»]
This has me kind of worried to be honest. Kotaku report that: "Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, noted during today's quarterly earnings conference call that the publisher may begin charging for user-generated songs uploaded ... [»]
Guitar Hero World Tour 'Tool' trailer HD Tool has not licensed their songs for use in 12 years and Guitar Hero World Tour is the first product to break that trend. Here's how Activision pulled it off.
So those of you paying close attention to the Xbox-360 forums yesterday may have noticed the bad news in regards to Guitar Hero: World Tour. The price has increased substantially to a new RRP of R3,299That's more than a Xbox 360 premium which kind of puts it into perspective. There are apparently 3 different reasons contributing to this and according to the email that was sent ...
