| Man Finds Drugs in Used Game | Geoffrey Tim - April 9th, 2009 | Richard Thornhill purchased two used copies of GTA from Gamestop for his children on Sunday, and got a little more than he was expecting. Upon opening and inspecting one of the games, a little packet fell out containing what is believed to be 4 ecstasy tablets. He then did exactly what I wouldn’t; He promptly removed the recreational narcotics to the local police station. While everyone is now safe and happy, Thornhill laments : "I have two children and my son plays Xbox all the time. He could easily have opened the box ... [»] |

| GTA: Chinatown wars – New Trailer Looking Great | Nick de Bruyne - March 13th, 2009 | Set to release on March 17, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS is starting to look like a must-have title for all DS owners that are looking for something fun, exciting and a little more hardcore.
This trailer shows us more of the gameplay, with a focus on missions that involve dealing and delivering goods. I'm not a huge fan of using the DS's stylus for gimmicky gameplay but I have to say that cutting open hidden compartments and hot wiring ... [»] |

| Official Trailer: GTA China Town Wars | Nick de Bruyne - February 27th, 2009 | The first official trailer and gameplay video for Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars has been released and looks to unleash havoc on the Nintendo DS.
The game will not be completely sticking to the original top view that I initially expected, but will be 3D with a slightly titled camera. It seems as if the developers have also opted for somewhat of a cartoony look to the game, although nothing over the top.
I have put up the gameplay video after the jump. ... [»] |

| Rockstar Release Patch – Australia and Europe back To Normal | Nick de Bruyne - February 23rd, 2009 | Last week, we reported that due to some sort of error triggered by The Lost and Damned DLC, content blocking was swapped around between Europe and Australia.
This issue caused quite a humorous stir as Australia, who is not supposed to see certain graphic content, had all of it unlocked and viewable, whilst Europe who has had it from the beginning (including us) were left with no pools of blood and a new camera angle that blocks your view during your visits to the ladies of the night.
Sorry Australia, all the fun is gone, and just in time too, because we all know that if Australians are exposed to violent or sexual content that they all turn into bloodthirsty murderers who kick Panda's. I mean surely that would happen right?
Why else would there be so many restrictions on the content that is ... [»] |

| Confirmed: GTA IV DLC Unblocked | Nick de Bruyne - February 17th, 2009 | Happy days everyone.
Thanks to one of our readers, Gnarkill, who posted up proof on the Xbox-360 forums that the GTA IV DLC is indeed working locally.
While we aren't exactly sure why the DLC isn't working, I highly doubt that Microsoft read about it somewhere and then decided to unblock it just to be nice. Maybe it was a muddle up or maybe it was just an error, what I do know is that it's probably not going to be available forever.
So, if you are ... [»] |
