Back in the days of Assassin's Creed II, I loved the moment when Ezio met his Uncle with the glorious phrase "Issa me! Mario!" However, Ubisoft is seeking to make a more serious title, which means no over the top accents that can't be explained. I guess you won't have to listen carefully if they say things only once.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is changing a lot of what we’ve come to expect from the franchise. There’s new stealth gameplay, a revamped parkour system and far better mission structure. It’s a pity that not all the relics of the past have been brushed away though.

Leak is such a funny word. It reminds me of awful plumbing problems I've had in various homes in my life. But in gaming, it means that we get pretty new screens that show off what might be the next Assassin's Creed game on new generation consoles.

South Africa seems to be making a mark on the international eSports scene, more so than ever. Another South African Battlefield 3 team, competing in the World Nations Tournament (on console this time!) beat last year’s champs over the weekend. A French mother in the Gallic town of Uckange was awakened on Saturday night by the sound of her ten-year-old daughter screaming. The reason for her caterwauling? Apparently her 5 year old brother, enraged by his sibling’s refusal to let him play her Nintendo DS, stabbed her in the chest with a kitchen knife. The attack was apparently inspired by a Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers game involving knives, but there are reports that the family has been victim to a history of domestic violence. The girl is thankfully alive, but still in hospital. I can’t help but feel though that this could have all been avoided if the family in question had – in true imaginary French fashion – replaced all their kitchen utensils with baguettes.Source : Kotaku

As you may know by now I hate piracy, I feel it is just as bad as walking into CNA and stealing a game of the shelf and I am all for pirates being caught and punished.

However I never expected any country to take it as seriously as France seems to be.

According to a new law that is being put forward in France if you are caught pirating anything over the Internet your Internet connection will be severed permanently.
