The Elder Scrolls formula has changed quite a bit since Oblivion, says Skyrim director Todd Howard. Many of its changes are inspired by Bethesda’s other open world RPG, Fallout 3.Oblivion featured enemy scaling, whereby as your character grew stronger, the creatures and enemies populating the world grew in potency as well. That’s changed for Skyrim. “’s a lot ... [»]
Does the name Harrison Krix ring a bell? It probably doesn't. That's probably because his awesome creations get all the glory, while he does all the dirty work. He has this to say about himself in his profile:I'm a 28 year old dork working in Graphic Design and living ... [»]
These days, just about every kid and his dog seems to have access to an HD camera and some video editing software.
The good news is that we seem to be getting a very decent flood of fan films coming in lately (like the two Street Fighter ones posted last week) and sometimes ... [»]
Downloadable content has become a large part of gaming during this generation, allowing developers and publishers to add even more content onto their games long after release.

If you’ve played just about any JRPG – or in fact any RPG – you may realise just how much RPG heroes are complete bastards. Apart from eventually saving the world from inevitable destruction, they’re rude, inconsiderate jackasses who’ll just barge in uninvited to the homes of the very people they’re out to protect. The protagonist causes just as much ... [»]

Fallout 3 is a long game; I’ve somehow managed to put in just short of 90 hours in to the game – and still feel that there’s more left to do. Thankfully fans have been blessed with a deluge of add-on content for the game, turning the already arduous endeavour into something quite protracted. The last add-on, Mothership Zeta failed to live up to ... [»]
If you’re a Playstation 3 owner who’s been anxiously awaiting the requisite DLC to return to the Fallout 3’s barren wastelands – you’re in for a longer wait, I’m afraid. The first Fallout 3 add-on, Operation Anchorage was Originally scheduled to hit the PSN in June, with the other packs releasing every two weeks. So, it has been recently made known to us that all of the Fallout 3 DLC will now be headed to the PS3 as well as to discs as well.
The first disc is already available on Amazon now, and will hopefully be hitting shelves pretty soon as well. This first disc includes Operation Anchorage as well as The Pitt, and comes with a really nifty poster as well.
I have a bad feeling that many South African's have overlooked Fallout 3, and if you are one of them then I strongly suggest that you give this game a look, it's absolutely massive and the depth is astounding, so do yourself a favour and pick a copy up.
Not to mention that there is so much DLC available as well, and even more on the way.

Fallout 3’s Microsoft-centric DLC hasn’t had a smooth ride. The last game add-on “The Pitt†was mired with game-breaking bugs upon it’s release – particularly for 360 owners. This most current DLC “Broken Steel†hasn’t escaped digital delivery unscathed either; PC owners are complaining that Games for Windows Live’s DRM has prevented them from playing the much anticipated level-cap increasing addendum. ...
