BioWare has released the first screenshot for Dragon Age: Inquisition, the role-playing-game that will run on the Frostbite 3 engine. The scene depicts something resembling the planning out of an attack. It has a woman in it, and you can only see her from behind. That's sexist!
Dragon Age 2 wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t a particularly good one either – its plot, and indeed setting were essentially confined to just one area, making it feel as if it didn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. And it was built on Bioware’s worn eclipse engine – so it wasn’t the prettiest game either. Bioware says that Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is “stunningly beautiful.”
The graphical and technical leapfrogging that happens with each successive console generation is set to soon have much smaller frogs, says BioWare's director of art and animation Neil Thompson.
