So anyone who’s been following this site and me personally for any amount of time would know that I am an absolutely massive Liverpool Football Club fan. I’ve been a fan since the very first time I watched Ian Rush and John Barnes knock the ball around way back in the 80’s.
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it a million times more; If you’ve even remotely considered getting into the MOBA craze, Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm is the best place to get started. It stripped away part of what makes other titles in the same genre difficult; namely items, gold management, and even skill selection to a certain extent. The open beta kicks off today, meaning that if you somehow didn’t grab a key over the past few months already, you can hop into the Nexus right this second. Alternately, if you’d rather skip the clicking, and favour drawing instead, you can enter Blizzard’s new design contest; there are $13000 worth of prizes up for grabs!
Hey look! I’ve not forgotten to do a draw! We’ve got a single Collector’s Edition of The Witcher 3 on PlayStation 4 to give away to one lucky reader. I’ve actually done the draw guys! Here’s the winner.
The Witcher 3 is coming. Don’t support DRM. Do, however, support this competition – which could see you winning a Collector’s Edition for what’s easily the most anticipated game to be coming this year. Thanks to local Witcher 3 publisher Megarom, we’ve been given a Collector’s Edition of the game for the PlayStation 4 to give away to one of you.
The team here is extremely excited about The Witcher 3 with Alessandro having already placed his pre-order for the CE edition of the game and chomping at the bit to get his hands on that review code.
It’s Tuesday today right? It must be Tuesday, because that’s when we said we’d be announcing the winner of the random collection of Grand Theft Auto goodies we had to give away, thanks to the lovely chaps at Megarom and Rockstar. I can tell time and date about as well as I can add, apparently. Anyway, we’ve drawn a winner, and that winner is…
Mortal Kombat has been released in the wild and it's getting a lot of love. Reviewers have raved and we will be giving our input ASAP (spoiler: it's good). We know you guys want to get in on the action, which is why we have this awesome offer.
GTA V is finally out on PC – and it works, as long as you don;t use funny characters in your Windows user name. To celebrate the launch of the much-anticipated game on PC, we’ve got some GTA V stuff to give away to one lucky winner.
I confess – I was a terrible supporter this past Cricket World Cup. I needed my sleep dammit, and there was no ways I was going to get up that early to watch some okes klap the ball for sixes, boet! Some of you are true patriots though, supporting regardless of time. Did you happen to enter our Superbru pool too? Were your cricket prediction skills up to scratch? If so, you may have won some sweet prizes!
Right. We’ve got a copy of Bloodborne - very possibly the best PlayStation 4 exclusive available - up for grabs to one lucky winner. that competition is now very, very closed , which means it’s time to announce the winner - who’ll soon be taking out Cleric Beasts like a boss.
Our Bloodborne review is out today, it’s taken a little longer than any of us would have liked - but that’s no fault of Umar’s, we go the game rather late. He…really, really liked it - giving the game the highest score we’ve given in ages. If you’re still not convinced it’s the thing for you we have one last reminder that we’re giving away a copy of the game, along with a couple of nifty extras. It’s your very last chance before the competition ends on Thursday, so get entering.
Bloodborne, if you go by the reviews that are out, is an incredible game - and a genuine reason to purchase a PlayStation 4. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, dishing out the most delicious hyperbole. It’s out in stores locally tomorrow (unless you’ve managed to bag a copy from CNA). If you own a PS4, you very probably want it. Of course, you could be a little afraid that it might be a little too unforgiving - and it’s a fair bit of cash to spend on something you may not like. That’s why we’re giving you a chance to win it.
Bloodborne is coming this week, and it’s already got fans of legendary studio FromSoftware’s fans rabid with anticipation. Take it from us, this game is as gorgeous as it is brutal and unforgiving. To celebrate its impending release, we’re giving away a copy of the game, along with a few other baubles, to one lucky winner. .
We’ve made you wait a long, long time for this. It wasn’t really our fault. Dying Light dropped the ball with their physical launch last month, and so the launch party ultimately suffered as well. But fear not true believers! Dying Light is just around the corner, so here’s the ten lucky sobs who will be joining us at the launch party this Thursday.
Dying Light feels like it should be old news by now, but the game hasn’t technically really seen a full launch yet. You could’ve grabbed it digitally last month, but the physical copies are still taking their sweet time to get here. Thankfully that wait is nearly over, and so is the wait for the Dying Light launch competition? Not sure what that is? We’ll then you’ll want to look over here.
