I met Zane Whitfield at the COD: Ghosts launch late last year. I remember it because he is huge. No, I know I’m short and whatnot, but this guy is tall. Anyway, he told me that he likes video editing and was looking to to get involved in the local gaming scene. As you might imagine, I smiled and told him I’d like to see his stuff, fearing that it would be awful and I’d have to find a polite way to tell him to go away. Instead, he has shown off some serious talent – definitely don’t want him to go away.
For those who don’t watch videos, he put together an awesome gameplay trailer. It features all gameplay from the COD: Ghosts launch. It’s very well edited and set to some “vibey” tunes – I’m loving the professionalism of it. Seeing as I’m slowly getting over my FPS issues, this makes me want to give COD a shot – it is the natural progression from L4D2, right?
Speaking of which – big thanks to some of the community that joined me last Friday for some L4D2. Was loads of fun, even though I was an absolute n00b. Maybe one day I’ll be able to play for an hour without getting nauseous. Until that time, I’ll keep trying and practicing. Or just watching this cool trailer and fantasizing about being able to shoot people one day.
