Battlefield 3 Team South Africa’s fragging line-up

The line-up for the Battlefield 3 team representing South Africa in the 2013 nation’s Cup has been announced. Twelve gentlemen start their journey to international butt kicking soon. SOON.

After some deliberation by the MSSA’s Management Board, Team Captain Barry Louzada can now lead his team to take on the rest of the world in the 2013 Nation’s Cup. Okay, maybe not the rest of the world, but we’ll be going up against Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, Indonesia, Israel, and Russia. Louzada is not just some new guy; he received his first National Federations Colours in 2006 and represented South Africa in 2007 at the Asian Games.

The recent award of National Federation Colours will mark the third time he’s received the award. This means that he’ll be entitled to wear the Honours Badge, which makes him the fifth eSports player who’s qualified for the award and the first to receive it since 2008. Needless to say, he’s definitely the guy for the job.

Take a look at those who will be joining him, along with their seedings and schedule:

  • Jean ‘wraithfiend’ Barendse: Bravado Gaming – Knight Mind Sports Club
  • Michael ‘silencerbb’ Belmonte: ADHOC – Knight Mind Sports Club
  • Craven ‘enigma-shifty’ Bruitenbach: Bravado Gaming – Knight Mind Sports Club
  • Theuns ‘Alpha-Renji’ Louw: ASF – Advanced Special Forces
