Will the first GTA V DLC feature Trevor’s mom?

mmmm Mr Raspberry Jam

It’s no surprise that we are going to be getting a few DLC packs for Grand Theft Auto V. Hell even Rockstar themselves have stated as such even before the game was released. But the question everyone is wondering about is what story line will the DLC follow?

The first add-on has already been confirmed as the Beach Bum pack and while Rockstar have revealed that it will bring all new beach vehicles and new weapons to the game it hasn’t revealed anything about the story and what path that is going to take.

If we follow on from previous GTA games we can expect the story to ignore the main character and focus on some of the side characters instead. However with GTA V having 3 starring characters and the fact that everyone loves the psycopath Trevor then the new rumour that the DLC will feature Trevor isn’t so hard to believe.

According to a tweet I saw last night from IGN’s Greg Miller the upcoming DLC will be a prequel involving Trevor’s mom. This was said during a live show that he was doing that I can’t find a recording to so I have no idea if it was a joke or not but through some quick research it seems that this idea has been mentioned casually once or twice before on forums and the like so it could be something.

Personally I loved the old lady and Trevor so some more story centred around them would work perfectly for me.

If he did leak the information last night then expect a full announcement any second now.

      Must…..resist……spoiler…….alert………gggrrrrrr….arrrrggghhhh…
But, if I may give you some advice, and this is only my 2c…… Finish the main story (except for the Lester assassination missions) and leave the side missions for last. The reason for this being that after you’ve finished the game and made your billions (Lester assassinations stock market “hack”) and you’ve done all the side missions, it’s a very boring place to mission around in…being a billionaire and all and not really have anything to spend your money on. Just think how much fun a mission could’ve been with an attack chopper or tank…that you bought….with your billions….

Played the game through twice….might just go for my noddy badge and do it a 3rd time. Another tip: Trying to make lots of money while busy with the campaign is just a waste of time. The mucho moola comes after the last mission, so why waste time on silly side missions trying to make lots of dough? You just need enough for guns, armor, ammo…..and hospitals.

Well, Trevor reminds me of my mom, only she’s super religious. The rest is about right. Just with less death, and more “you’re going to hell you demon possessed evil thing.” She’s actually said that to people. It IS both funny, and a nightmare.

Oh there’s no explaining. You know the worst kind of evangelist you find in America, like that horrible douche you see on tv shows and in movies? That’s my mom. Not kidding. Its hard because I’m not religious. I believe in science. Like, you know, the stuff that we’ve been able to PROVE.

            November 6, 2013 at 09:47

Yes, agreed, but nobody is even beginning to suggest as much. There was SOMETHING before the big bang, and they’re getting closer to finding out what it was.

Edit: and you just made a huge case for why God is impossible.

NO MAN! nothing like that at all! I believe in God and my religion as I have seen proof… May not be the right one or may be all incorrect and untrue.. but I choose to believe and hope one day when I die I go to a happy place, instead of turning into nothing..

          • ToshZA

            November 6, 2013 at 10:07

It’s exactly like that, actually. There’s nothing to substantiate that belief. So why would people believe it? Same with religion.

Just think though, Certain religions have only been around for 2000 years (just under, I’m rounding up), while science has been around for billions of years. Before we even existed as a species. It was always there. That’s fact. Religion is made by man.

            November 6, 2013 at 10:07

To an atheist, it is like that. To me there are no varying degrees of belief. It’s either something you can prove beyond a reasonable, scientific doubt, or it’s belief which relies on an individuals opinion, and that is the clincher, ‘opinion’ 🙂 Anyway, moving into religious territory so time to move on! Little Life hack for Tosh: Whenever you want to get rid of someone just start a conversation topic about something you know for a fact they have no interest in. Not something they will try and debate with you, just something that bores them to death. It’s a subtle way of getting rid of them without getting into fights or hurting their feelings. Evil much? a Little bit.
