A rumour hit the Internet this yesterday that the rather incredible-looking Star Wars 1313 would be coming to the PS3 – thanks to a posting on the official German Facebook page. When we had a look at the game at Gamescom, we were convinced the title would only be for Next-gen consoles and high end PCs. Were we wrong?
Well, No. The post has subsequently been removed and according to the original source this rumour has no basis.
But then you have to ask yourself why someone at Sony’s PR team would post the above which really isn’t cryptic at all. I speak little to no German but that says that Star Wars 1313 is coming in 2013 for the PlayStation 3. My guess on how this went wrong, the internal guys at Sony know that Star War 1313 is coming to the PlayStation 4 as a launch title and through the magic of broken telephone the PR company heard wind of this and jumped the gun.
Thankfully they didn’t know it was for the PS4 so they didn’t let out the really big secret.
