Who do you want to see in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale?


Last week, while i was busy stressing about being stuck in the Bush without a functional car, Sony officially unveiled the long rumoured, terribly kept secret of PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale – their clone ripoff replica inspired take on Nintendo’s fan-favourite crossover fighting series Super Smash Bros. It borrows that games entire aesthetic – pitting heroes from all sorts of Sony games, fighting in their respective worlds to give you a four-player mashed-up mess of mayhem.

I’m pretty excited. I adore Smash Bros, and it seems the next one will be quite a way off, headed for Nintendo’s new console, the Wii U – so something in that vein, provided it’s handled well, could tide me over. Plus, it’d be interesting to play with Sony’s developed stable of mascots and characters- and functional online multiplayer.  So far, the game’s set to include God of War’s Kratos, Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth the demented clown from Twisted Metal, Killzone 2′s Colonel Radec, Parappa the Rapper (Kick! Punch! It’s all in the mind!), a certain, cake loving Fat Princess – and more than likely LittleBigPlanet’s Sackboy in some incarnation.

Developer SuperBot has said there will be many more character reveals in the near future – including numerous 3rd-party ones.  Personally, I think that even though he’s no longer exclusive to Sony’s platforms, it would be sacrilege not to feature Crash Bandicoot. The question is – which characters from the PlayStation’s long history would you like to see included in the game?
