erm guys ps3 games dont sell the same as xbox games,
Uncharted 1 sold 2.66 million and it sold 300k first week.

Uncharted 2 is at 1.38 million according to vgchartz this week, so how is it a failure? its less than a month old. Ps3 consumer buys uncharted or demon souls or ratchet and clank or blue ray movie or buy stuff on psn. Their tastes are more diversified.

Quality does not always sell the most guys only mainstream games do. uncharted is almost mainstream im sure it will do better with uncharted 3
Look at forza 3 it sold 175 000 on the npd that sold wayyyyyyy worse than uncharted 2

Uncharted will do fine in the long run.

If you want to look for a BOMBA, just look at Forza 3.

My personal reason is price.
Why should I go and pay a fortune, when I can wait 2 months and get it at half the price or second-hand.
I think the majority of PS3 owners have leant to be patient, since we are always expected to be happy with waiting for multi-platform releases. See Dragon Age for a recent example and Red Alert 3 or Bioshock for a historic one.

It really is true though. It’s quite upsetting actually.

Uncharted 2 imho will be GOTY. and to think it won’t actually sell that much.

But PS3 games are known to have a longer lifespan (or so the game sites have me believe).

PS3 gamers really don’t flock to their marquee titles the way 360 gamers do. Now that isn’t flame bait, but flagship 360 games routinely outsell flagship PS3 games even if we adjusted for install base. It makes very little sense.
