The Lazygamer Awards 2012 – Best PS3 Game

The PlayStation 3 has had its fair share of exclusives this year, some brilliant and some, well…not so brilliant. Even though we didn’t get a new God of War and are still waiting for The Last Us, there’s been one game that completely blew our minds. The best PS3 game of 2012 was no doubt…

Journey

What can I say about Journey? It’s hard to put in word just how incredible this game is. This anonymous adventure game takes you on the most breathtaking journey you will ever experience in a videogame. It’s probably the closest thing to a spiritual experience many gamers will ever encounter.

From the official website: Journey is an interactive parable, an anonymous online adventure to experience a person’s life passage and their intersections with others.

Its enthralling visuals, score and ability to immerse players, everything about it, has set it apart from every other game. Journey has scooped up a great many awards this year as well as best original score at the Spike VGA Awards.

I like bacon and games, and occasionally I say something coherent about it. I'm not old or cynical, and I'm not the Dork Knight. I AM SHE-RA! Wait, what?
