Some good news for the local Beatles fans who were struggling with who were struggling to agree on how was going to be singing and who was playing the guitar in The Beatles Rockband. The official extra 2 microphone pack for The Beatles Rockband is going to be released in South Africa on the 2nd of October.

The RRP is R699 which does seem a little steep to me but if you want to really recreate the fab four and stop those constant arguments then it’s a price well worth paying.

According to the press release we will also be receiving more music on the 20th of October through the Rockband Music Store and then more once again in November in the form of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and once again in December with Rubber Soul.

It really is the gift that keeps on giving.

All of these are only available on the PS3 seeing as we don’t yet have official Xbox Live status… however I would be surprised if the DLC was banned for us.
