PS3 Firmware 3.15 Confirmed – Coming Soon Getting There

The Playstation 3 will be seeing a new optional Firmware update very soon, according to the EU Playstation Blog.

I know what your first question is, the answer is no.

What the update will be including will be a couple of nifty features such as the ability to transfer data between two consoles linked with a network cable as well as the ability to play your PSP minis on your Playstation 3.

We also now know that the PSN Store will be receiving an update on the 22nd of December and then again on 7th of January 2010.

One more time, it is optional, so if you don’t see yourself using it, then you don’t have to download it. More information through the link below.

    • Fred

I do think it is a wasted feature , i never used it on my 60 gig , just get an old ps2 rather.

      • RSA-Ace

    • http://www.designwave.co.za Nick de Bruyne

I can’t confirm it, but I did hear something about that being sorted with the update as well

    • RSA-Ace

that’s not just slim related. even my 60GB had a problem

  • Bobby Kotick, Master of the Gameocalypse.

Sounds good, Just downloaded the Comics viewer on the PSP, very nifty application.

  • ClericZA

Hopefully it also sorts out the problems that some of us have syncing trophies on peak hours.

  • Milesh Bhana

  • RSA-Ace
