PlayStation welcomes Halloween with some frighteningly cheap games

NOMNOMNOM GAMES

I love random days like Halloween. It usually means large amounts of unnecessary candy, in-game themed community events, and sometimes, games for really cheap. PlayStation are throwing together some rather delicious specials to welcome in the scary event, all taking place over the next two weeks.

The specials are available to everybody. Are you PS Plus member though? You’ll get your goods for even cheaper! Here’s what you can expect (via the PlayStation Blog)

Head over to PlayStation Store later today for this week’s deals, and on October 28th for the second week’s lineup. Over the next two weeks you’ll be able to snag games like Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Demon’s Souls, Daylight, Outlast, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, and more — all at a sweet discount. Check out each week’s lineup below:

Week 1

Week 2

And there you have it, tons of scary/horror games that have been discounted significantly. I checked my PS3 to see what our prices would be, but the specials haven’t popped up yet (at time of writing). Even with our horrendous exchange rate, some of those prices above are real bargains.

Interestingly enough, it seems that Sony have taken a stab at an upcoming Xbox One exclusive. Doesn’t this font look a tad familiar?

SO

Yes, yes it does. I just can’t quite put my finger on it… wait, here we go!

Well, shots fired I guess? Insomniac Games developed exclusively for PlayStation right up to the multiplatform Fuse. This is the first time they have made a game exclusively for Microsoft. Perhaps Sony miss them? Anyways, CHEAP GAMES! Will you be picking up any of these titles?

More proof that there was no reason to upgrade to PS4. There is just very little incentive to own one at the moment.
