I reported on the Fallout 3 achievements yesterday and stupidly mentioned that I expected the PS3 trophies to be identical.
Well it was announced today that the PS3 version of Fallout 3 will not have any trophy support at launch. Apparently they didn’t have enough time to plumb them in.
They haven’t said whether or not Trophy support will be added later, though by them specifically saying “Not at launch†you can bet they are on the way.

The guy who invented achievements must get a medal from all role players in games. I have never played through a game twice until I got an Xbox. The PS3 trophy system looks like an afterthought that is being slapped on.

^ Me niether,I’ve played Bioshock,Mass Effect and Gears of War more
times than I can count to get the achievements so the HORRIBLY expensive
games last alot longer. On the topic of the PS3 having no trophies
for Fallout 3,asfar as I know trophies aren’t compulsery for PS3
games like they are for 360 games,I think.
