Bad news for those of you eagerly waiting for the hauntingly beautiful PlayStation 3 version of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, RPG from Layton developers Level 5 and animation wizards Studio Ghibli; the game won’t be coming this year. the localised, English version of the game was meant to be released at the end of this year, but has now been set for the first quarter of 2013.
The game’s already out in Japan – and has been praised by reviewers. "The graphics really make you feel like you’re exploring an anime world," said famed Nipponese gaming mag Famitsu. Publisher Namco’s released a beautiful trailer showing the game’s English localisation. for those of you who despise dubbing (and there are many of you!), you’ll be able to play the game in Japanese, with English subtitles.
Either way, it looks amazing.
