New Sorcery trailer is magical

Sorcery

I put on my robe and wizard hat…

Sony’s released a brand new story trailer for its upcoming PlayStation Move game, Sorcery, detailing a little bit of the story. It focuses on Finn, the sorcerer’s apprentice a talking cat (never a good thing!) named Erline – and details the shenanigans they got up to that lead to them crossing paths with the Nightmare Queen and endangering the entire world.

It’s hardly news that PlayStation Move – wonderful, and wonderfully underutilised motion control technology – just isn’t selling as well as anyone’d hoped. the biggest reason for that is the dearth of intriguing, fresh Move experiences – and Sorcery might just be the thing to sell Move, and get those of us who already have it to dust the things off.

The game’s out on May 22 in US, and May 23 in Europe.

I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
