The original title won many different awards back in 2007. These included an Annual Interactive Achievement award for Racing Game of the Year as well as Develop Industry Excellence Award.
And now the title has become one of Sony’s biggest selling IP’s, boasting over 3.5 million sales. The second title of the franchise (MotorStorm: Pacific Rift) has also reportedly sold more than a million copies within the first six weeks of its release. And the fact that there’s also a new PSP version just means that the franchise will grow even more.
Well I guess another congratulations is in order… so uhm… yay.
