The music IMHO is lacking. In the options, there’s no way for you to listen the songs before deciding whether they should be in the tracklist. Luckily I can play my own music during the offline single-player mode.

i was hoping you would mention this. i have always wanted the developers (or even sony) to allow you to see your progress in one trophy.

as a fan of the first game i’m loving this new one. i cant help thinking this is what the first one should’ve been though.

great review nick! only thing i would add is in the sound section the whole loud repetitive engine sounds get a bit much… i would give it an 8.5 tho!

It’s a racing game – looking for a plot to take you somewhere is asking a little too much. Need for Speed Undercover tried that and kinda failed.

Good review Mario. Note that on the time trials, you can also download ghosts not only from developers but other players on the leaderboard.

Arcade games dont have much staying power do they , but it sure as hell is fun while it lasts. It is the best looking racer on ps3 in my opinion , and i’m keeping it for the dlc to come. 9/10 for me
