Kevin Butler immortalised with thread and stitching

You know you’ve reached the zenith of online popularity and fame when you are immortalised in a game. It just happened to that Red Shirt Guy who corrected Blizzard on their own World of Warcraft law; he has now, apparently, asked them to remove his immortalising dwarf representation (called Wildhammer Fact Checker) because it didn’t fit with WoW law. What a bad-ass!

Kevin Butler, however, wouldn’t stand on ceremony with that sort of thing. He’d grab hold of his digital representation and show it off for all to see, even if it was made out of wool, buttons and a fancy blond toupee.

Proof that you can do nearly anything in the upcoming LittleBigPlanet 2, the team at Media Molecule have recreated their own “Dear PlayStation” Kevin Butler advert – and it’s awesome. The original advert and the LittleBigPlanet 2 version after the jump.

Now I want a Kevin Butler Sackboy costume when LBP2 ships, please.
