Jetpack Joyride hits 2 million downloads on PSN

JetpackJoyride

If you haven’t played Jetpack Joyride then you are missing out on one of the most addictive iOS games that has been released but it isn’t only available on iOS, no in fact last year it was released onto the PSN and priced at $3.99 in November 2012.

However the price point may have been a bit too high as the very next month they dropped the price down to absolutely nothing, the now free Jetpack Joyride quickly amassed 1 million downloads by February 2013 and now Halfbrick Studios has confirmed that the game has just passed the 2 million mark a mere month and a bit later.

Now I have to admit that I haven’t looked at it on the PS3 as I have it on iOS but I have to presume they have some items available for purchase in game to ensure they can still make some profit from this.

Either way boasting a 2 million download mark on any single platform is very impressive indeed. Well done Halfbrick and PlayStation

I'm cranky, arrogant and ever so amazingly annoying but when you get to know me you will also realise I'm honest and incredibly good at describing myself... now pass me that beer

Yip spent many hours on airplanes playing this!

It’s free for PS+ subscribers, I just wish the costumes and different jetpacks you can buy influenced the game more. Currently it’s mostly for visual effects.
