Hey Europe! These are your PlayStation Plus games for May

PSplus

I honestly haven’t even gotten around to playing April’s PlayStation Plus games yet. Mercenary Kings sits and taunts me whenever I boot up my PS4. In fact, I think my PS+ backlog is starting to rival my Steam backlog – and it’s only set to get worse. Here are the games PlayStation Plus owners will get next month.

PlayStation 4 owners will be graced with Stick it to the Man, continuing the assault of indie games gifted to next-gen adopters.

PlayStation 3 owning gamers  will get to play Puppeteer, Japan Studio’s charming platformer and the multiplayer-centric bank-heist simulator Payday 2.

The most interesting game, for me anyway, will be coming to the Vita; very Asian slasher Muramasa Rebirth.

The Vita will also receive Everybody’s Golf, which is honestly, pretty bland. I have to say this is the worst Plus line up, probably since the service was conceived.

In summary

Leaving PS Plus:

  • 30th April: Mercenary Kings
  • 30th April: Pro Evolution Soccer 2014
  • 30th April: Bioshock Infinite
  • 30th April: Hotline Miami
  • 30th April: MotoGP13

Entering PS Plus:

  • 30th April: Stick it to the Man
  • 30th April: Payday 2
  • 30th April: Puppeteer
  • 30th April: Muramasa Rebirth
  • 30th April: Everybody’s Golf

What do you think? Anything you’re excited for?

I can’t agree at all that this is the worst lineup, April was the worst imo. Muramasa and Pupeteer alone make this an excellent Line-up. Already bought Muramasa but hot damn dat Ass…I mean dat art style…..Gameplay can get repetitive and story does dig deep into Japanese folklore but fok is it a good game….

Just watch the trailer. Looks fun and pretty. This totally passed me by. Must have been in the asylum when this game came out.

Sure of these, was hoping to see Lightening Returns from the Future part 17 up there. What do they have coming to the Xbox360, any ideas?

So, you lose access to those games? How does it work? Not linked to account?

As long as you have PS+, you can play them.
      Locked if your subscription ends.
There forever once you DLd them, though.

no, you have access to the games as long as you download them when they’re available (even if you don’t complete the download), and your PSN+ account is active.

You “purchase” them for nothing and they are still downloadable a year later. Even if you don’t own a PS4 yet.

Indie games! Indie games for everyone!

In other news, AMD has launched their Never Settle Bundles for the 200 series cards and you get at least 1/2/3 AAA titles and a bunch of indie games.

Now Sony if you reading this – how about Dragon’s Crown in June? How that game can be R750 when it came out (on PS3 version) I don’t know. I saw at BT for R500 on Monday – man that game looks so nice! I wish it was cross buy with Vita though.

Not unreasonable seeing as how puppeteer is much more recent than DC

I am super duper excited to see Muramasa Rebirth on there – always wanted the Wii game but never got around to getting it. And Puppeteer looks great and heard many a good thing about it.
