GT5

Gran Turismo 5 has been out for just over a year now and so far it’s sales have been spectacular with Polyphony Digital now revealing that it has now sold 7.3 million copies worldwide.

Strangely the Americans have not been taken with GT5 with the title only selling 1.8 million units even though the PS3 has a massive base in the states.

Europe on the other hand appear to love their racing with sales figures of 4.6 million copies already as of September 2011.

With the release of spec 2.0 and the holiday season already upon us you can expect a bucket load more sales when Polyphony Digital update their sales stats in the new year.

And unlike Call of Duty we haven’t heard a sniff about Gran Turismo 6 yet but it’s obviously going to appear at somepoint in the future. Maybe as a launch title for the PlayStation 4 in 2013?
