God of War III Release Date Flame On

God of War 3Amazon.com has listed a release date for pre-ordering God of War III.

Apparently we are going to be seeing it on the 2nd of March 2009, the fact that we are even talking about it 10 months prior to it’s rumoured release date tells you how expectant this title is.

Unfortunately there is no rumour starting mistakes like adding a 360 platform or even a Nintendo Wii version.. as fun as that sounds.

God of War is one of my favourite franchises and this is possibly the next big PS3 game after the release of Resistance 2. If this release date is to be believed then we are going to be seeing it around the same time that Killzone 2 is released, which could be the final nail in that coffin.

    Are there any cellphone contracts where you get a PS3 instead of a phone? I’m upgrading at the end of the year and it seems like I’m going to need a PS3 in the future.

    I haven’t seen one but when I upgraded my last phone at makro they gave me R4000 worth of vouchers… so that would virtually cover it

    Give your nearest i-Talk a call. They do that kind of contracts. I think it works out cheaper to buy a PS3 that way

    Yeah, March sounds about right. Considering God Of War released March 2005, God Of War 2 released March 2007, God Of War: Chains Of Olympus released March 2008, God Of War III releasig March 2009 is a bit of a no-brainer. See the pattern? A new God of War console game virtually every two years and in the month of March? :wink:

    Oh, and it will be amazing.

    :devil: No guys, I am sorry to be the one to tell you this, but their has been quite a few release dates for GOD OF WAR 3, it was to be released with the PS3 as well. And quite honestly I think we will be seeing it later than the specified date (March 2010). This will just be another disappointment to all of us GOD OF WAR MANIACS.
