Pokemon Sun and Moon (2)

Pokémon Sun and Moon might just be the E3 of video games: Leakier than my last attempt at plumbing and spilling secrets on a weekly basis before the real deal even lands. Thanks to some scans out of CoroCoro magazine earlier this week, we got to see a ton of new critters and our first look at the latest squad of antagonists, Team Skull.

Update: The official assets are now out in the wild! So here’s all the legit stuff to browse through before the original story follows:

Team Skull Boss Guzma

Pokemon Sun and Moon (4)

Guzma is the boss of Team Skull who holds these ruffians together. Guzma pours on the attacks, battling without mercy. He certainly does seem strong, but he claims to be one of those who “never could become captains.” He seems to have a bone to pick with Professor Kukui, as well.

Team Skull Admin Plumeria

Plumeria is considered the big sister of Team Skull. She’s a tough lady who keeps Team Skull in line and working together—in the same way a strict older sister would. She seems to care for the Grunts who are below her in the pecking order, and she’s not one to let it go if someone’s given them a walloping.

As for those new Pokémon? Here’s WishiWashi in action:

Before it transforms into a nightmare fuel mode with its school form. One hard knock though, and it looks like WishiWashi goes back to its regular form:

Then there’s Pyukumuku, a Water type in Pokémon Sun and Moon that uses its internals to attack you, and is most likely based on sea urchins. Please that not be what I think it is:

And also Morelull, a Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon!

And as mentioned earlier, new Alolan forms for Marowak, Meowth and Raichu. There’s been a big increase in Fairy-Type Pokémon lately, to help counter the sometimes overwhelming power of Dragons:

Nintendo usually has more details following the release of their translated trailer on a Thursday. I’ll add to this post with those official descriptions as soon as the info is in my inbox. 1. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s “leaked” Pokemon is. And each daily one next week, and the week after.
