We’ve been wanting to do a podcast for a while, and not just because every other local site around here happens to be doing one. The thing is, it’s a bit awkward for us, due to our gang being scattered around the country like the 12 talismans of the Chinese Zodiac from the Jackie Chan adventures. But we think we’ve found a solution, so sit back, and enjoy some mindless rambling from myself and the Mattstick about Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Yes, I’m well aware that there are a pair of videos above, but I dig doing both audio and visual. The podcast idea here is essentially the same anyway. I think. Instead of doing massive hour-long podcasts, the idea is to rather klap smaller content, more frequently, discussing a game or issue of the week. As you can see in the videos above, we’re doing just that with Call Of Duty. These are basically, unscripted videos with heavy opinions and terrible jokes. Just a bunch of guys and gals, talking games, being honest and candid.
The Youtube measure makes it easy for me to upload, while Vidd.me allows you guys stuck in offices to also have a listen. And if you feel like doing more than listening, consider the visual gags your DVD bonus features. There are a ton of games we plan to discuss soon, and you’ll forgive us (hopefully) for any teething problems as I fine-tune the podcasts. Constructive criticism, as always, is welcome. Destructive criticism might make us cry however. More than usual.

I must agree with Matthew. I really can’t see myself playing a MP FPS game without being able to boost jump and dash. It really is a half-way point between Unreal and traditional CoD. I’m loving it, will be dumping some hours into this.
EDIT: Still something that pisses me off is that there are so many awesome game modes yet everyone has this obscure obsession with TDM. My can’t even find a match in Kill Confirmed.

I think its a great idea to have a podcast. One suggestion is obviously to have audio only one available on iTunes – so I can download it like I do the other 9 I subscribe to. I love me a podcast.
Audio sound was good though – crisp and could hear you both well. Also perhaps podcast could be a weekly roundup, upcoming events/releases but perhaps with a more local spin?

Agree with everything you’ve said. Although maybe weekly might be a bit too taxing, what with the whole 12 talismans problem… but then again if anyone can pull it off it’s LG (ass-kiss for the day!)
Wonder if there’s any chance of putting the audio up on Soundcloud? Like that iTunes idea, quite a few people I know can’t watch vids during the day for whatever reason. Granted you’d probably need a job where earphones are permitted, but it’s better than nothing no?
