If there’s one game on the horizon that has me grasped firmly by the balls, it’s DONTNOD and Capcom’s incredibly intriguing Remember Me; a game I’ve had the pleasure of briefly playing. Announced at Gamescom last year, it’s not quite on everybody’s radar just yet – but as we get closer to release next month, I suspect that will change.
It’s genuinely intriguing stuff – as this developer diary attests. It’s biggest hook – aside from superlative, insanely deep combat and 3rd-person action-platforming – is the fact that you can remix people’s memories, effectively creating new realities. Set in a futuristic Paris, it follows former memory hunter Nilin trying to piece her own life back together.
