When the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance came out I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. A 4 player co-op fest with all the top characters from the Marvel universe, what could go wrong?
Well I found the game to be incredibly repetitive, the graphics were bland and the fighting mechanic was a non stop button mash.
In all I was not a fan, however the idea is still an awesome one and I am tentatively looking forward to the next one. Click through to see the Jean Gray reveal trailer along with some glimpses at gameplay.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 was my favorite XBOX 360 game I have ever played. I am a HUGE Marvel fan and it was full of interesting facts. I can’t wait for this one!

I found the first one incredibly disappointing too even Marvel Nemesis was a bit repetitive. Here’s hoping they make it better. I mean surely if you can make giant open-world/free-roamers then they should be able to develop a game where each character and their controls can be significantly different but uniquely awesome. Besides it doesn’t take a genius to learn a characters controls in any game 🙁
