Not to be outdone by our friends over at BT Games, who’re busy hosting their annual clearance sale, our other friends over at e-tailer Kalahari.com are doing the same – also giving gamers with a little extra disposable income a service to help alleviate the burden of having too much cash.
They’ve kicked off their “Big Mama” sale today, selling off a number of games and consoles at reduced pricing. You can see everything that’s been discounted here.
Here are the noteworthy ones, in our humble opinions:
you can pick up Ubisoft’s incredible open-world shooter Far Cry 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3 for just R379.95, or the PC version for just R279.95. that’s a great price for one of last year’s very best games – so if you haven;t yet played it, I’d suggest you take the plunge.
If you like killing things in inventive and clever ways, the PS3 version of Hitman: Absolution is also on sale for R 399.95 on PS3 and Xbox 360, while Xbox gamers can get Max Payne 3 for just R199.95. Our 2012 Game of the Year Borderlands 2 is going for just R379.95 on Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. If you’re looking for something different, the criminally underappreciated Binary Domain has an engaging story and a ton of heart – and is just R179.95 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and R129.95 for PC.
If you’re looking for some games to keep you busy until the gaming calendar kicks off properly next month, you might as well do so on the cheap, right?
