Yesterday, we posted the magnificent documentary about pro Street Fighter player Mike Ross and his road to EVO 2010. Well EVO 2011 starts in Las Vegas today and it’s going to be absolutely massive.

The tournament will be streamed live on the internet, complete with great commentary, have around 2000 players and also around 3000 live spectators at the event, with the tournaments spanning over Super Street Fighter IV: AE, Mortal Kombat 9 and Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Even if you aren’t a major player of any of these games, EVO is truly a spectacle to behold so make sure you catch a bit of it over the weekend. Schedules, event trailers, stream links and more after the jump.

Ok so here’s what you need to know:

The tournament will have not one, but two live streams in order to try and catch everything. The video is usually archived afterwards, so you will be able to go back and watch stuff you missed.

Any additional tournament info can be found on the EVO 2011 official website.

Both LIVE streams can be accessed from a variety of sources, but Shoryuken.com has a neat setup of both streams on their front page, so that’s a great place to catch the action.
