Bejeweled 3 1

EA keeps offering games in their On the House program. Previously, they’ve given out copies of Plants vs Zombies and Battlefield 3 for limited periods to anyone who wanted them. Now, they are going old school and helping to get you off of Facebook gaming.

The latest On the House game is Bejeweled 3. For those who don’t know, Bejeweled is the game that Candy Crush cloned in order to make all the money. I mean, here’s the description from EA:

Bejeweled 3 is a truly classic “match three” puzzle design where you’ll link gems of various colors. Find the best combos to cause huge, cascading links that’ll double, triple…even quadruple your score. Try all eight game modes as you make those gems vanish.

The only difference is that it isn’t candy themed. Oh, and I don’t remember any jelly or chocolate in Bejeweled.

On the House specials aren’t forever, but we also don’t know how long they will last. So, if you want the full version of the game absolutely free, head on over to Origin and grab it. Once it’s yours, it’s yours forever, even once the deal ends. So, even if you’re not sure if you want it, you might as well nab it for future possibilities and Facebook game addiction breaking.

Which game would you like to see next from Origin’s On the House program? Are there any treasures buried in the EA store that people might only rediscover if they could get them for free?

So…I was a pretty big bejeweled and peggle fan back in my baller days and then one day…Square Enix decided to make an RPG version of Bejeweled…now…its not an amazing game..it was pretty good but it was just a flashy version of bejeweled but God help me I played that game for almost 40 hours I think? It could’ve been more…actually…now I feel like playing this game again…Thanx Zoe for bringing up an old addiction 🙁

I would like them to give away Mass Effect free. This would essentially gain them more people who would buy ME2 and 3 and give me more people to talk about the finer arts of “romancing” Tali. 😛

Sort of like what book publishers are starting to do: give the first book in a series away for free, sell the rest to those who are interest and know exactly what they are getting.

trouble is, I have yet to finish one of these free books, because they are badly written and hardly edited. Interesting is not enough anymore, people. Too much content

Yeah but ME is not badly written. Also I will use Jedi mind tricks (annoying them until they play the game to shut me up) on them so they play the game. Mission accomplished.
