Yesterday saw the local launch of Apple’s latest technolust generating gadget, the iPhone 4, with both MTN and Vodacom throwing huge parties to commemorate the event. We were invited to MTN’s shindig, and with so many people showing off the iPhone 4, I was reminded of a joke about those who possess such devices;

How do you know somebody has an iPhone?
They’ll tell you.

On that note, thanks to MTN for very nicely giving me a brand new iPhone 4. While supplied without any obligations, you can expect a full review on the device – and the new addition of the Xbox Live inspired GameCentre included with iOS 4.1.

Here’s the news we didn’t post because we’ve (unsuccessfully) been trying to get calls to drop with the infamous “deathgrip.”
