The good, the bad and the ugly of the past week – 29 April 2016

I love public holidays. Seriously, can’t we have one or two a week, for the duration of the year? I could really get used to this whole not-working-a-full-five-day-week thing! Speaking of which, I’m done, and off to enjoy the long weekend. Ok bye!

I’m still in two minds about Battleborn, but I’m happy knowing that once work on that MOBA shooter wraps up, Gearbox will start working on Borderlands 3. Hot damn, I’m keen to go back to Pandora!

Look, I may not be the biggest fan of PewDiePie, but I do admire him for what he has managed to achieve on YouTube. My respect for him grew more this week when he reflected on how he’s changed over the years. You have to give him credit, his content really has matured and is a lot better than what it used to be.

You know the Konami Code? It’s 30 years old now. Yeah, I feel old now too, but I am grateful to Konami for giving me all them extra lives. Happy birthday, you good code you!

Worst Stories

Keen to get your hands on Tekken X Street Fighter? You’re going to have to wait, and for a long time. The game has apparently been put on hold.

Want to hear something depressing? Sony’s PSN made more money than the whole of Nintendo last year. OUCH.

Am I excited for Uncharted 4? You bet! Am I willing to steal it from a delivery truck in transit? Nope, but these people were.

In other bad news, Scott Cawthon has teased a new Five Nights at Freddy’s game. Am I ready for it? NO GOD PLEASE NO!
