Super Mario 3D World just keeps looking better

There has been a ridiculous number of trailers released late yesterday and today – far too many to post individually, because otherwise today would have been nothing but trailers. The one that I want to post about most though, isn’t the new Assassin’s Creed’s 4 launch trailer, or the new Battlefield4 story trailer or even a delightfully bloody Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z one. Nope, it’s this video showing off Super Mario 3D World.

Yes, this whole thing is in Japanese, but it shows 6 minutes of pure Mario magic. When I first saw this game at E3, I wrote it off as a poor, uninteresting attempt. It was certainly no Super Mario Galaxy. Since then, however, everything Nintendo’s shown has demonstrated has shown the game to be a bit of magic.

    Having only played the original Super Mario while I was 5 years old and playing Super Mario 3D land on the 3DS I was reinvigorated for Mario games. Can’t wait to get my hands on this.
