Every now and then a company in the gaming industry makes the most bizarre mistake for no real apparent reason. This time it is Nintendo that has us shaking our heads in confusion and they have unbelievably forgotten to add a headphone jack to their FPS controller.
That’s not to say you can voice chat on the Wii-U, certain games will support voice chat like Black Ops 2 and Assassin’s Creed 3 but to make it work you are going to need to plug your headset into the jack on the Wii-U gamepad (the tablet thing) even while playing using the above pro controller.
Nothing has been officially confirmed yet as the Wii-U does allow Bluetooth pairing but according to Mad Catz they don’t currently have any Bluetooth enabled headsets that will work with the Wii-U which leads me to believe they’ve done something special with the Bluetooth as any Bluetooth headset should work.
