Sound-Shapes

Playing games on a portable system has come a long way since the monochrome days of the Gameboy. Cell phones, tablets and dedicated gaming consoles have opened up a whole new world, a market that people have embraced to the sound of CHA-CHING! So out of all those games released, which one was worth the micro-payment? For us, that winner could only be…

Kingdom Rush

Kingdom Rush

A strategy game on iOS that was cutesy, fun and filled with minute details. What more could you ask for? Kingdom Rush is also more than your average five minute experience, as the Orcs versus Humans gameplay stretches over multiple campaigns, challenges and scenarios that would test the mettle of any tap-happy gamer.

Kingdom Rush isn’t just a great strategy game on a mobile platform. It’s one of the best Tower Defence titles on the market today, and several months after release, we’re still tapping away on the damn screen to get some REINFORCEMENTS.

Honourable Mentions

  • Soundshapes
