Grab 700 free comics for your tablet right now

Not included, unfortunately

I don’t know about you guys, but I love me some comics. Especially on my iPad. While I’m still keen on collecting the more tradtional trade paperbacks of my favourite titles, Reading a single issue or two on the Jobs tablet is actually kind of rad. And quicker than waiting for stock to arrive. It can be costly though. So how about getting your mitts on 700 free comics right now, for that device?

Between now and 5 in the AM on March 13( Give or take daylight savings time), Marvel comics are offering quite possibly far too many comics for download, through the ComiXology app on iOS and Android. You can see the full list for yourself on the ComiXology website via Kotaku, but be patient, because that site is being hammered with legit requests right now.

But as for the comics? There are some fantastic gems to get you hooked. Matt Fraction and David Aja’s Hawkeye, Daredevil, the Avengers, the Immortal Iron Fist…

I could go on and on before Geoff eventually caves my skull in with a replica Mjolnir, but suffice to say, Marvel has released number one issues of note here in order to hook some new readers. There’s quite a bit to read, and with comics now actually being cool instead of material with which people can target you for wedgies, now is the time to start reading.

Your move, DC, Dark Horse and Image comics. Also, it’s a proven fact that the more you know about comics, the hotter you are. I’ve had so much underwear thrown at me, like that time when I spoke about when Bat-Mite teamed up with Mr Mxyzptlk in World’s Finest 133 to save the day. Heck, some of those undies, even came from ladies…

Because he's the writer that Lazygamer deserves, but not the one it actually needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can't take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a loud-mouthed journalist, a watchful procrastinator. A dork knight.

        Dear Darryn.

I was having a shitty day until now. Co-workers were about to be punched in the face, Then I read this comment. Then I laughed.

I always wondered, who did Archie pick? Betty or Veronica?

    • Jonah Cash

Archie has always and will probably always hedge his bets on both!!! He is making his 50-50 chances seem more like 100-100……(PS I would sooooo go for Veronica over Betty)

      • Deon Steyn

        Hehe rather Veronica and Betty.

        • Andre116

          Why not both?

          • Deon Steyn

            Exactly

After struggling to get anywhere yesterday, I finally go onto the site today only for the CEO of Marvel to tell me that they have suspended the freebee until further notice. Guess that’s what you get if you’re a cheapskate like me.
