We’ve seen a bit of chatter about Professional Edition copies of Hitman: Absolution for the PC being delayed locally – which is the sort of stuff that turns ordinary civilians in to stone cold, bald-headed killers. We don’t want that happening.
We contacted the game’s local distributor Megarom to find out exactly what the score is. Put down those Razors folks, and pack away your black suits and shiny red ties. You should receive your PC copies of Hitman: Absolution on release date – which, incidentally is tomorrow.
It seems that, yes, there was a slight bit of trouble with the Professional Edition – but it’ll be in stores (and on your desks) tomorrow. Unless you live in Bapetikosweti, that is – in which case you should have it tomorrow, but you might have to wait until the end of the day.
Here’s what Megarom’s Jason Borea told us:
Hitman: Absolution will be available for sale, tomorrow on all platforms. Our only concern regards the Hitman: Absolution Professional Deluxe Edition on PC which may only arrive in outlying isolated stores during the course of launch day.
In any case, you’ll definitely be killing stuff by the weekend.
