The Battle.net World Championship kicks off this weekend, seeing some of the world’s best StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft players battling it out for the World Champion title and some money too!

Gamers can tune in to watch the most epic finale of the StarCraft II World Championship Series and the World of Warcraft Arena Global Finals. A totally free and HD stream will be available at http://us.battle.net/bwc/en/ along with lots of other information. The event starts at 4 am (GMT +2) tomorrow morning, 6 pm tonight (PST).

Over the past seven months, StarCraft II players around the world have battled it out for the honour of representing their countries at the Battle.net World Championship in Shanghai,China. Players from more than 30 different countries competed in qualifier, national, and continental events in order to earn their spots at the BWC. Now, 32 of the world’s best StarCraft II players are travelling to China to compete for both country and a share of the $250,000 prize pool.

The winner of the event will be taking home the trophy, the prestigious title of StarCraft II World Champion, and a $100,000 cash prize.
