Watch these Japanese Mario and Luigi ads!

Luigiiiiii

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team for the 3DS, the fourth game in the Super Mario RPG series is out later this month – and its bordering on mental. With large sections of the game taking place entirely within Luigi’s dreams the lanky, usually timid brother is a tad more heroic. The dream world also brings with it the opportunity to delve in to more crazy gameplay ideas, but none of them are as mental as the adverts that accompany the game.

Here’s another, showing some of the dream-world gameplay. I’ve been playing it quite a bit, and if you have a 3DS, it’s another of those games that justifies your purchase.

I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.

So it is Inception The Game based in the Mario universe.

That is one crazy ass trailer. The game itself looks quite weird. Dont know if its the actual ad that makes it look so confusing and chaotic.

Game is actually pretty damned magical. the Trailer is confusing as all hell.

What i have noticed though is that Mario games still have that magical feel to it. That feel of wanting to play a game so bad. Like how you felt when you were a kid. Its a very different kinda feeling you get compared to games on other consoles.
