Gearbox wants to bring you more Duke Nukem

NOOOO! Duke Nukem Forever ‘n Ever ‘n Ever might be coming our way. After the not so awesome release of that game, I can only hope that Gearbox will bring a game worth playing should they make another Duke.

In an interview with IGN, Gearbox software President Randy Pitchford mentioned that Gearbox does have an interest in developing more Duke Nukem games.

“I willingly and lovingly acquired the brand. When I did that, I wasn’t thinking that the only goal is just to make sure everyone could play Duke Nukem Forever,” Pitchford told said. “The real goal for me is I’d like to build a Duke Nukem game again.”

Pitchford continued to tell IGN, “I think what I would do and what Gearbox would do would be a little different” than Duke Nukem Forever. “I think it would be amazing, and I look forward to that.”

A new Duke game, may or may not be a good thing, I was very disappointed in Duke Nukem Forever after just about the first five minutes of gameplay. It doesn’t matter how big or good your advertising package is, if the game’s bad, its bad. Maybe the next time round they could make a better game about a guy that saves all the hot girls on earth from evil aliens.
