Will Nintendo rename the Wii-U?

Nintendo aren’t adverse to giving things stupid names, the Wii is a perfect case in point, but even now that I’m used to the Wii I can’t help but think of an ambulance when I hear Wii-U.

Really am I the only one? Say this 5 times fast, WiiUWiiUWiiUWiiUWiiU… drives me insane I tell you. Anyway according to the cover of the upcoming Nintendo Gamer magazine the Wii-U is in crisis and even the name may not survive the changes that Nintendo are being forced to make.

So if Nintendo do see some sense and decide to rename the console what do you think it should be called? Should they go with some continuance and simply call it the Wii2 or should they show that this is something entirely different and call it the Nintendo Go?

They could always follow the DS naming and call this the Nintendo Wii XL
